This page is about WOWBet as we cover it, and about the team behind the review. We are an independent site, not the operator, and we do not take bets or hold player money.
This WOWBet about us page explains who is writing, how each brand is tested and how the site is funded.
What this site is
This is an independent WOWBet review site that runs on the domain wowbet-apk-download.com. We publish guides, comparisons and testing notes for players in Ethiopia.
We are not the operator. We do not process deposits, settle bets or control accounts, and we cannot unlock a balance for you.
The aim is simple: explain what a WOWBet account is actually like before someone hands over money, which sometimes means writing about problems.
How we test a brand
Testing is repeatable rather than improvised. We run the same sequence for every brand so the results can be compared.
- Register an account. Sign up from an Ethiopian connection with a real phone number.
- Fund the wallet. Deposit the minimum using Telebirr or CBE Birr and time it.
- Place bets and play. Cover a football single, a live market and a short casino session.
- Request a payout. Verify identity, withdraw and record how long it takes.
- Contact support. Open a real query and note the reply time and quality.
| Test | What we record |
|---|---|
| Registration | Confirmation time and ID requirements |
| Deposit | Method used and time to credit |
| Bet | Markets used and settlement accuracy |
| Withdrawal | Verification steps and payout time |
| Support | Channel, reply time and answer quality |
We keep notes and screenshots for each step, and we never publish an invented statistic or a staged screenshot.
Editorial standards
Reviews are written by a named person and carry a date. When an operator changes its terms, we revisit the page rather than quietly editing the score.
Corrections are published, not hidden. If we get a fact wrong, we fix it and note the change.
No brand can buy a rating, a badge or a place in a list. Advertising and affiliate links are kept separate from what we recommend.
How we make money
This site earns money through affiliate commission. If you follow a link to the operator and later deposit, we may receive a payment.
The arrangement never changes a verdict. We cover brands with no affiliate deal when a reader needs the information, and we criticise partners when testing justifies it.
You pay nothing extra for using our links, because the commission comes from the operator's marketing budget.
Who writes here
The analyst behind this site is Yonas Alemu, who has followed the Ethiopian gaming market for nine years. He is not employed by the WOWBet company.
He writes the reviews and runs most of the tests himself, focusing on what works on a mid-range Android phone.
Where a page draws on outside sources we link them, and where an opinion is ours we say so.
Corrections and feedback
If something on this site is wrong, tell us. Email the editorial address on the contacts page with the page name and the detail that looks incorrect.
We check every report. Confirmed errors are corrected within a few working days, with a note added under the affected section.
The same address handles questions about our method and complaints about how a review was written.
